Georgina Claxton

Director, Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

Georgina is the Director of Base Physiotherapy & Pilates. She holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Master of Physiotherapy from The University of Sydney, with further training in Women's Health Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates.

After founding Base Physiotherapy & Pilates in 2023, Georgina now focuses on leading the clinic, mentoring the team and ensuring every patient receives exceptional, evidence-based care. Alongside treating patients, she is dedicated to maintaining the high clinical standards and personalised approach that Base Physiotherapy & Pilates is known for.

Georgina has a special interest in lumbopelvic and hip pain, neck pain, and pregnancy and postnatal physiotherapy. She is passionate about helping people recover from injury, move with confidence and return to doing what they love.

Madeleine (Mads) Elazzi

Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

Madeleine is a dedicated Physiotherapist passionate about helping people recover from injury, reduce pain, and return to doing what they love. She treats a wide range of conditions including back and neck pain, sporting injuries, running injuries, shoulder pain, knee injuries, and persistent pain.

She holds a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. With a background in competitive sport and coaching swimming and CrossFit, Madeleine combines hands-on treatment with evidence-based rehabilitation to help people move confidently and perform at their best.

Madeleine has completed APPI Clinical Pilates training, advanced dry needling qualifications, and further training in shoulder rehabilitation and women's health.

She takes a personalised, patient-centred approach, combining education, exercise and manual therapy to help her patients achieve lasting results and stay active long term.

Maddie Parsons

Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

Maddie is a dedicated Physiotherapist with experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, shoulder pain, lower limb injuries and persistent pain. She also has a special interest in Women's & Pelvic Health, including the management of musculoskeletal conditions during pregnancy.

She completed her Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) at Sheffield Hallam University and has since undertaken further training in Women's Health and advanced dry needling. Her clinical experience includes rehabilitation, musculoskeletal outpatients and pelvic health services, providing her with a broad and well-rounded approach to patient care.

Maddie combines hands-on treatment, exercise therapy, education and Pilates to help her patients move confidently, recover from injury and achieve their goals.
