Clinical Pilates Inner West

Physiotherapist led Clinical Pilates in Drummoyne

Personalised Clinical Pilates programs designed by physiotherapists around your needs, goals and current abilities.

1:1 and 4:1 Clinical Pilates available.

What Is Clinical Pilates?

Clinical Pilates combines Pilates based exercise with Physiotherapy assessment and individualised exercise programming.

Unlike a standard Pilates class, your exercises are selected according to your movement, strength, mobility, previous injuries and goals.

Your program can be modified and progressed as you improve.

Clinical Pilates can be used for rehabilitation, returning to exercise, improving strength and mobility, or building confidence in movement.

Why Choose Clinical Pilates With Us?

  • Physiotherapist Led

Your Clinical Pilates program is developed and guided by qualified physiotherapists.

  • Individualised Programs

You don't follow a generic workout. Your exercises are selected around your assessment and goals.

  • Small Groups

Our semi private Clinical Pilates classes have a maximum of four participants, allowing for individualised programs and physiotherapy guidance.

  • 1:1 Sessions

Private Clinical Pilates provides a higher level of individual attention for people who need a more tailored approach.

  • Specialist Pilates Equipment

Our studio includes reformers, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Spine Corrector equipment.

  • Progression

Your program can be adjusted as your strength, mobility, control and confidence improve.

Clinical Pilates During Pregnancy and After Birth

Clinical Pilates can also be suitable during pregnancy and after having a baby, with exercises adapted to your stage of pregnancy, individual needs and physical capacity.

Our physiotherapists can provide guidance on appropriate exercise throughout pregnancy and during the postpartum period, helping you maintain strength, mobility and confidence as your body changes.

If you've recently had a baby, Clinical Pilates can also form part of your gradual return to exercise, alongside our Women's Health and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy if you're managing postpartum symptoms. Your physiotherapist can assess your individual needs and develop an appropriate program.

Your Clinical Pilates Assessment

Your Clinical Pilates journey starts with an assessment.

We'll discuss:

  • Your goals

  • Previous injuries

  • Current symptoms

  • Exercise history

  • Strength and mobility

  • Movement and physical capacity

Your physiotherapist will then develop an appropriate exercise program and explain which Clinical Pilates option is best suited to you.

  • 1:1 Clinical Pilates

Our 1:1 Clinical Pilates sessions provide individual attention from a physiotherapist, with your program tailored to your needs, abilities and goals.

Private sessions may be suitable if you're new to Pilates, recovering from an injury, returning to exercise, recovering from surgery, requiring exercise modifications or wanting a highly personalised program.

  • Small Group Clinical Pilates

Our 4:1 semi private Clinical Pilates classes combine personalised exercise with the benefits of a small group.

Each participant follows their own individualised program, with your physiotherapist providing guidance, monitoring your technique and modifying exercises when required.

Before joining a class, you'll complete a pre class assessment so we can develop a program suited to you.
