Neck & shoulder
Neck pain, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder strains and pain from overhead or desk-based work.
Arm, elbow & hand
Tennis and golfer's elbow, wrist and hand pain, and repetitive strain injuries.
Post-surgery & return to work

Treating the cause, not just the pain.
Your recovery starts with an in-depth one-on-one assessment. We look at how your injury happened, what your job demands, and what you need to get back to. Your treatment plan is built around those goals, and may include:
- Manual therapy and soft tissue techniques
- Dry needling and taping
- Individualised exercise and rehabilitation
- Manual handling and ergonomic education
- Clinical Pilates for strength and control
Four steps to get started.
Lodge your claim
Report your injury to your employer and lodge your workers compensation claim. Your insurer decides whether the claim is accepted.
Book with us
You can generally choose your own physio. Bring your claim number, your insurer and case manager details, and your certificate of capacity.
Assessment & plan
We assess your injury, explain what is going on in plain language, and set goals that match your work duties.
Treat & return to work
We treat, track your progress and, with your consent, update your doctor, insurer or employer. If you need more treatment, we help request insurer approval.
Real care, not a quick fix.
Madeleine "Mads" Elazzi is a SIRA-registered physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor at Base. Her focus is musculoskeletal injuries, sports rehab and exercise-based care, so your recovery plan is built around getting you strong and back to your duties.
Meet the teamWho pays?
For an accepted claim, the insurer generally pays the provider directly, so you usually won't be paying out of pocket for approved treatment. Private patients can see our prices. Some treatment beyond your first appointments may need insurer approval. We'll tell you where you stand and request what's needed so your care isn't interrupted.
Can I choose my own physio for a WorkCover claim?
Generally, yes. You can choose your own physiotherapist, as long as they meet State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) requirements and any needed insurer approvals are in place. Madeleine Elazzi is a SIRA-registered physiotherapist at Base, so you can book with her directly.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Your claim number, your insurer's name and contact details, your case manager's details, your certificate of capacity, and any scans, reports or referrals you have.
Who pays for my physio?
On an accepted claim, the insurer generally pays the provider directly. We'll confirm how your claim is set up when you book.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your injury, your job and how you respond. After your first assessment we'll give you an estimate. Further treatment may need insurer approval, and we can help request it.
What if my claim hasn't been accepted yet?
The insurer decides whether a claim is accepted. If it's rejected, you can ask for a review or get free help from the Independent Review Office. Contact us or give us a call and we'll talk through your options.
Will you speak to my employer or doctor?
Only with your consent. When you agree, we can share progress and work capacity with your doctor, employer or rehabilitation provider.
